I am super late on writing this update, however Benjamin is now eight months old and it feels like it was just yesterday I was writing his six and seven month updates. Another month has gone by and a lot more learning and growing has taken place. He now has six teeth in total and is busy learning how to stand and climb. He has been doing so great standing on his own for a few seconds at a time.
He has learned how to pull himself up onto anything that he can get his hands onto. He is still a busy army crawler, but he is doing some crawling on his hands and knees and likes to do the downward dog yoga pose. He is a little chatterbox and likes to say “Dada”, “Baba”, and “Mama” on his own but he will also try to copy easy words like “hi” when he hears them.
He has mastered the wave and is slowly learning how to clap, right now he puts his hands together then will give them a shake. Benny has been doing great learning how to eat finger foods but he really loves his mushed bananas and sweet potatoes. Our little man still isn’t sleeping through the night, although he sometimes likes to surprise us with a good 6 or 7 hour stretch and those are the nights that replenish us.
It feels like every week there is a bundle of new milestones to record in Ben’s books. He is a quick learner and watching him grow is so much fun. He has certainly grown more attached to me since the last month and its pretty darn cute.
